MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - E. Howard Hunt may hold a controversial niche in American history, but mourners at his funeral Monday expressed only admiration for the man who helped organize the Watergate break-in.
Hunt died Jan. 23 after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
We're sad he never got to see it in its finished form," Austin Hunt said. Hunt always insisted he wasn't a Watergate burglar, often saying he preferred the term "Watergate conspirator." He eventually spent 33 months in prison for helping plan the June 17, 1972, break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, leading to the greatest scandal in American political history and the downfall of Richard Nixon's presidency.
While working for the CIA, Hunt recruited four of the five actual burglars, who had worked for him in the Bay of Pigs invasion. The four also had ties to Miami, where part of the Watergate plan was hatched. Hunt said their goal at the Watergate was to see whether Fidel Castro's Cuban regime had given money to the campaign of Nixon's Democratic opponent, George McGovern. It hadn't. Fallout from the break-in led Nixon to resign Aug. 9, 1974.
Hunt's son, Austin, said it was touching to have close friends and family pay tribute to his father. "They were proud of my father and the things that he did," Austin Hunt said after the service. "He was remembered well."

It asks anyone suffering from obsessive/ compulsive disorder to press one... repeatedly.
If he or she is paranoid, press two... but don’t look behind you.
If you have multiple personalities, have your alter ego, Mr. Pretzels, press three, four and five.
And, if you have a self-esteem problem, don’t waste our time !!
Getting a credit card that offers cash back always sounds like a good idea. What could be better than getting cash back on all the purchases that you make with your credit card? It sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?
Well, there are cards that give you free cash, but it is usually only around 1% cash back. However, free money is free money, right? Well, sometimes.
If you like to buy a lot of things in one month, this kind of credit card probably sounds great to you. However, you need to keep in mind that they are not going to give you cash back on every purchase that you make. Even if they claim to give you cash back on every purchase, they will only give you up to a certain amount per transaction. The company also has a strict limit on the amount that they will give back to their customers. If you read the little, bitty print on the form that you signed, you will see a paragraph with their limits in the terms and agreements.
This is another way to try to draw in new customers for these companies. It is a good credit card to have and sounds great in theory, but they will have to check your credit rating before they will give you their card.
Research different credit card companies to see what they are offering. You may be surprised to find a cash back credit card that offers you just what you need and want with a high cash back percentage, few limits on the amount they will give you back, and instant cash deposits when you make each purchase with their card.
Although these credit cards seem like a great thing to have, some companies will need your credit rating to be great too. However, there are credit card companies that offer these cards to people with a low credit rating to help them rebuild their credit. Research all of your options.
What should your decision be? If you have a good credit rating, then this card is a great option for you. Research different card companies – there are cards out there that offer you up to 3% cash back and impose very few limits. If, however, you have a bad credit rating, you may want to find a credit card that will help you rebuild your credit.

A common, but misleading, description of nihilism is the 'belief in nothing'., ie., to say a "firm belief in something for which there is no proof"
In other words, a nihilist is a "person who does not bow down to any authority, who does not accept any principle, however much that principle may be revered."
The human mind creates ethics, moral codes, rules, excuses and justifications for the deepest epiphany and the most trivial event alike.
Some even go so far as to hijack random events and misinterpret them as self-created, the psychological principle known as 'illusion of control'. Unfortunately the complexities of the human mind merely make it easier to believe in fantasy and entertain delusion.
Such an effort to find greater significance where there really is none and this only leads to wayward guidance and specious justifications. Those concocted reasons are then used to justify what need not be justified like our continued existence except based upon lies, setting up everyone for the fall when the myth erodes.
Everything would move onward quite smoothly without any human minds around to believe in good, bad and/ or any other fictions, which it did before us and it would do so after as well. Instead the Nihilist is concerned with the things that matter whether anyone believes in them or not; all those forces and factors that influence even the things that don't think.
Self-delusion may well be the defining quality of human nature. Lies maintain our flimsy order, we find consolation in myths like 'what we do has significance' and 'the bad gets punished'.
The constant avalanche of empirical evidence to the contrary simply gets relegated to the third class bureau of irrational philosophers.
In short, Hypocrisy can only flourish when goodness is defined not only as kind and altruistic behavior, but as sticking to the rules as well.
Clearly we have a dilemma on our hands...
That is to say a real, mature nihilist is a very serious person with a sharp and cogent mind, but who also is dealing with a double edged sword that can just as easily lead to damage, as to enlightenment.
As humbling as it is, the scale and perhaps significance of humanity shrinks in accordance with the magnitude of our knowledge.
A basic understanding of cosmology leads to the ultimate nihilism.
Springing from a cosmic accident, we have apparently no purpose, objectives or value.
As a "practiising nihilist" [ and I hate myself for that ] I say it's our domain and we can make it a hell or a heaven. But as long as we prejudge he decision absolving ourselves of responsibility then it probably will be a realm of "mr. hot stuff".
If that's what everyone expects, then that's all it will ever be.
On the other side, it can be terribly damaging for some.
Let me explain to you what I mean with the below example ..
A little boy wakes up 3 nights in a row when he hears a thumping sound coming from his parent’s room.
Finally one morning he goes to his mom and says, "Mommy, every night I hear you and daddy making noises and when I look in your bedroom you're bouncing up and down on him."
His Mom is taken by surprise and says, "Oh! Well.. Ah.... I'm bouncing on his stomach because he's fat and that makes him thin again."
And the boy says, Well, that won't work!" His mom says, "Why?"
And the boy replies, "Because the girl next door comes by after you leave each day and blows him back up!"
Hoo whooo.. That did it... Poor Daddy’O!!
The fact that kids today are growing up too fast is something to be made note of.. They should grow up at their own sweet pace, make mistakes and learn from those mistakes..
There are people who burnout by 25.. And don't let your child be one of them !
During this time they received a call from a very upset elderly woman, whose cat was stuck up a tree.
The army immediately responded to the woman’s call and valiantly rescued the stranded animal.
The dear woman was so thrilled, that she invited the whole group of soldiers into her home to celebrate the event with tea and cookies.
After the celebration, fond farewells were given. Then off went the army, driving over the cat and killing it.

Mendy Samstein, who left graduate school to put himself in the forefront of the fight for black voting rights in Mississippi, enduring bombings and beatings in the crucial summer of 1964, died yesterday at his home in New Lisbon, N.Y. He was 68.
The cause was carcinoid cancer, his wife, Nancy Cooper, said.
Mr. Samstein abandoned his pursuit of a doctorate in history to join the historic turmoil in the South and became known as an adept organizer and pull-no-punches speaker. He helped recruit and deploy the more than 800 college students, mainly white, who traveled from many states to rural Mississippi towns, mainly black, as part of the Mississippi Summer Project in 1964.
Mr. Samstein was one of nine committee workers in a house in McComb, Miss., on July 8, 1964, when three blasts ripped the house apart.
I curse this country every day of my life because it made me hate it, and I never wanted to,” he said in an interview with Jack Newfield in “A Prophetic Minority” (1966).
In addition to his wife, Mr. Samstein is survived by his sons, Ivan, of Chicago, and Ben, of Manhattan; and a granddaughter.

Subliminal advertising is a technique of exposing consumers to product pictures, brand names, or other marketing stimuli without the consumers having conscious awareness. Once exposed to a subliminal marketing stimulus, the consumer is believed to decode the information and act upon it without being able to acknowledge a communication stimulus

BrandMillion, brandmillion.com, are trademarks of Partheeva Technologies LLC. Partheeva is an Internet media and Web development company founded by Raj Lakkaraju. It is based in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
The concept basically links subliminal advertising and consumer behavior, creating a new concept mainly recognized as neuromarketing.
Neuro linguistic programming or NLP was popular in the late 80s and 90s and is still an active player in marketing and advertising sectors. NLP was further popularized by Anthony Robbins
The interesting point is that actually, one doesn't need to have subliminal messages that flash across a screen. Even advertising in its current state can influence purchase decisions - why? Because hypnotic language is all around us. We as individuals have our own individual definition and opinion about those high-level and unspecific words - when we hear many of those long enough, our mind starts to wander about into different directions. This then is the time when hypnotic suggestions are possible.
Although similar to neuro linguistic programming or NLP, in neuromarketing, it’s not uncommon to see a big leap from actual research data to a questionable business conclusion. It turns out that neuroeconomics research can be similarly be used. That is to say that “familiar brands evoke faster, more positive responses in the brain than lesser-known brands”.
Neuroeconomics puts medical and marketing expertise into efforts to understand the consumer's mind. The concept is to better understand the minds and needs of people and accordingly create markets which are more oriented towards satisfaction of these needs. By doing so companies could avoid flops in launching new products or services
At its launch on June 1, 2006, BrandMillion.com gave consumers a new way to think about brands and a new expectation from advertisers. That new expectation: “If a brand wants a position in my mind, I deserve to be paid for the space.”
BrandMillion rewards consumers for their brand awareness by giving them rewards, including products for brand searches, and soon to come, a portion (20 percent) of its advertising revenues.
The method for rewarding users seems quite odd. To put it in a nutshell, consumers are asked to enter a brand name into the site search. A search result of “Hurray, Brand not found" means the consumer's high brand awareness will earn him or her a reward when an ad is placed for that brand. Basic economic analysis suggests that an early user would be wise to search for thousands of brands and hope to be in the first position for some of them.
It sounds easy, but consumers work for their brand awareness rewards. Tracking their rewards means clicking through on each of the ads, which gives advertisers an opportunity to reach consumers with additional brand messages. Consumers however must be 18 years old to receive rewards from their brand searches.
Advertising on the BrandMillion site, provides businesses with the opportunity to reach consumers with brand image advertising and sales offers for the products and services that consumers have entered in the site search.
Individuals, merchants, or agencies may submit an ad for a product or service that they offer. Following approval and publication on BrandMillion.com, a percentage of the ad value is rewarded to the consumer (a BrandMillion.com site user) with the first search record. The process repeats itself for subsequent searches and ad placements.
We are aware that familiar brands evoke a more positive reaction in the brain than unfamiliar ones. Now consumers can earn ad dollars for their intellectual space, their minds.
That is to say, advertisers buy space in other media such as television or magazines for external ads that allow them to achieve a position within the customers’ minds. What BrandMillion has done is to simply, and brilliantly, allow the ad money (reward) to continue to flow–directly to the consumer. Every incremental user, though, has a lower possibility of a quick reward.
As the busier the site gets, the smaller the chance of a reward. The chances of winning any rewards reduce, if other consumers have entered the same brands earlier. Subsequently the entries are pushed further down on the list and one has to wait for future ad placements to earn a reward.
In addition to the self-defeating nature of the reward system, the basic branding theory seems a bit flawed - rather than building brand awareness, BrandMillion requires the user to enter the properly spelled brand name.
While I suppose that could reinforce brands that pop into the consumer’s mind, the brands that need help are the ones that aren’t at that level of awareness and this is where BrandMillion has to reinforce itself. Well, that is a different issue altogether.
However, for more information on BrandMillion's Advertising Guidelines or to search for brands and earn rewards, visit www.brandmillion.com

Text Link Ads buys and sells online advertisements that are designed to drive targeted traffic and raise link popularity. They service a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 businesses to individual website owners.
Patrick Gavin, the current President of Text Link Ads, founded Text Link Ads in 2003. He previously did pay per click management and SEO for clients of his PatrickGavin.com business
Text Link Ads are unique because they are simple, direct, HTML links.
You can make money by selling Ad Space for Text Link Ads, by setting up a banner or text link on your website. You receive 50% of the sale price for each text link ad sold off your website through their system and any referred traffic that results in a new paid client or new publisher will earn you $25.00.
Alternately, you can use Text Link Ads as static links that can help your natural (organic) search engine rankings, as Text Link Ads have an exhaustive inventory of quality niches that can send targeted traffic to your website. This allows them to provide an outstanding approach to advertising because it affordably allows you to tap into the flow of traffic from large sites drawing your target audience.
Text Link Ads are priced at a flat rate per month per link. You prepay for a 30 day run of your ad. Your ad will never be turned off if it gets too many impressions or clicks. Their pricing algorithm is based on a website’s: traffic, theme, ad position, and link popularity when setting the flat ad rate per month. Hence, you don't have to ever worry about cost per click or CPM rates.
You can also control the links that will appear on your site, because Text Link Ads can be run along any ad system as it is not a contextually served product.
Unfortunately, you must have a dedicated hosting account to publish your Blogger blog, as their script will not work.
If you are considering a text link campaign targeted at increasing backlinks rather than just click-throughs, you may be wise to choose Text Link Ads.
If you already use them, you know this by now. If not, you're missing out on something easy. Give them a try !

Your teenager has just become a new driver joining millions of other motorists. You smile at the same time you quickly think about the added pressures of having a new driver in the family
So obviously, teenagers should drive vehicles that reduce their chances of a crash and also drive vehicles that offer state-of-the-art protection in case they do crash.
Teen drivers not only lack experience, for many of them possesses immature behavior, such as speeding and reckless driving, is common. They may drive cautiously when mom or dad is in the car, but when they're on their own or with other teens, bad driving is often the norm.
These recent statistics offered by law enforcement officials give you reason to be concerned, but they are also meant to stress the importance of proper education for teen drivers:
Auto crashes are the leading cause of death for young people between ages 16 and 20. Most motor vehicle accident-related deaths among teenagers occur on weekends. The teenage driving group makes up 7% of licensed drivers, but suffers 14% of all fatalities and 20% of all reported accidents.
These figures are alarming, but car crashes are preventable with solid education and guidance and accordingly, teens are invited to visit GEICO's teen safe driving library of materials at http://www.geico.com/auto/safety.
The topics covered in their videos and brochures can help you in keeping your teens safe while driving, and include the following suggestions:
Also don’t let your teen drive at night or with friends in the car until you are certain that they are a safe and responsible driver. Insist on using a seat belt and observing the speed limit, especially in residential neighborhoods and school zones. Highlight the dangers of driving while intoxicated and also indicate to them that the use of mobile phones, eating and being distracted by the radio can add significant obstacles to an inexperienced driver.
Conveying the message of proper driving to your teens can help keep them safe and could have a positive effect on your auto insurance by helping ensure that our newest drivers understand the importance of safe driving
Teens are once again invited to visit GEICO's teen safe driving library of materials at http://www.geico.com/auto/safety. GEICO provides the materials at no cost to families, driving classes, law enforcement officials and state agencies.
GEICO added "Teens and Trucks" to its online library of safe driving materials for teen drivers. The brochure, developed with the American Moving and Storage Association, includes valuable information for teens on how to safely share the highway with large trucks.
Now did you know that there were some 1.7 million vehicle-related thefts during the 2005/6 financial year? And it gets worse over the Christmas period not least because people leave tempting-looking festive shopping bags lying on their back seat!
Driving for five years or more without making a claim on your car insurance will typically give you a discount of up to 65% on your premiums
Cars with smaller engines attract lower premiums too but you should avoid making any subsequent modifications that will put your car outside the standard set by the manufacturer.
You can also keep insurance costs down by paying the premium in full up front. Insurers can charge as much as 30% extra if you pay your premiums on a monthly basis.
If you don't do much driving, make sure you let the insurer know as most will give you a discount for low mileage. And offering to pay a higher excess in the event of a claim will also keep the premiums down.
Most importantly, shop around. Prices can vary hugely among insurers so it's always worth seeing if you can get a better deal elsewhere when your renewal notice drops on the doormat.
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is the fourth-largest private passenger auto insurer in the United States.
GEICO, a member of the Berkshire Hathaway group of companies, is rated A++ for financial stability by A.M. Best Company. GEICO keeps its rates low by dealing directly with the customer. GEICO provides consumers with outstanding sales, service and claims capabilities on its geico.com Web site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 15 minutes could save you 15% on car insurance.
For more information, go to http://www.geico.com/.
GEICO provides the materials at no cost to families, driving classes, law enforcement officials and state agencies.

No experience or special skills are required. .. All you need is a computer and access to the Internet. ..
What you will be doing is typing online ads that you submit into online forms.
This is a common advert you see nowadays... It sounded too good to be true ... So, I thought of giving it a try.
I thought it was the usual "wouldn't you like to be your own boss and work directly from home ...
But this process turned out to be interesting..
In short, it is a system that practically runs on autopilot that will make you a great deal of money working for around an hour a day (once you set shop and get the hang of things !)
Although I was not new to the concept of affiliate marketing, and in particular using pay per click search engines to promote affiliate programs, the thought of making thousands of dollars every month, sounded too good to pass off.
But paying for clicks ? It sounded more like a way to spend money than to make it !
Though skeptical, it was at least worth a try. The concept appeared simple.
Choose a product - one that has an affiliate program.
Set up an advertising campaign at a PPC search engine like Google and choose how much you want to pay per click.
Write a three-line advertisement and add your affiliate link. Whenever anyone clicks through your ad and buys the product, you earn a commission.
Start by conducting a few test campaigns and soon you would be having one or two showing results. Then draft a time frame and over that period of time, test a couple of campaigns for a whole range of affiliate products. It is likely that within a month, you could be having several profitable campaigns.
Now this where some expertise is needed. The chances are without some guidance also, you could make money, but, it is not worth the risk
It sounds easy and just about anyone, even your granny can do this
While the concept is simple, getting your campaigns to run profitably takes some expertise.
That's where Affiliate Adventure can help you.
- It tells you exactly how to start this business and which mistakes to avoid from the very beginning
- It helps you make money promoting affiliate programs on pay per click search engines

One of the main reasons why asthma is so widespread and difficult to control is that it is a very individual disease. While one asthma sufferer might not have any ill effects when faced with a high pollen count, another could be getting rushed to hospital. The stimuli that cause asthma attacks are called triggers. These can be cold air, exercising, pollen, pollution, and yes, household pets are on the list, too.
But before Fido thinks his days are numbered, there are a number of precautions we can take to minimize this particular trigger. Keep most rooms off limits for Fido and his pals. You should never have animals anywhere near your bed if you have asthma. While many people assume it is the hair of the animal that is the source of the problem, in actual fact the real culprit is the dry skin animals leave in their wake (and with amazing frequency). This dry skin is called dander, but to anyone with asthma it should be called danger. The dander from cats and dogs is an extremely sticky substance and will adhere to almost anything (falling hairs included).
Getting rid of this is no easy task, especially if you happen to have carpets everywhere. So what can we do, short of packing Fido off to live with your Aunt Edna? Weekly bathing is a highly recommended way of reducing dander deposits. Obviously the person in the household with asthma shouldn’t be the one doing the cleaning, and if possible make sure it is done outside. Ask at your local veterinary to see if they have any special animal shampoos that can further help reduce dander, and while you're there have Fido's hair cut as short as possible.
Another very important option for the asthma sufferer is to consider taking out all the carpets and replacing them with wooden or ceramic floors. This may seem like an extreme measure to take, but when you realise that the majority of vacuum cleaners aren’t able to clean deep down into carpets and that the effects of dander can last several months, the benefits or changing your flooring become quite clear.
Does Fido constantly want to give everyone kisses? While this is endearing, remember that the saliva on an animal’s tongue contains a protein that can also trigger an asthma attack, and when he’s not kissing you he’s licking himself, lapping up all that wonderful dander onto his tongue ready to go off and kiss someone else. So the optimal situation would be to train your dog (this isn’t really a problem with cats) not to go around kissing everyone in sight. It all really comes down to how bad your asthma is and how much you love your pet.
If you are living an impossible situation, then the only real alternative may appear to be to remove the animal from your house. But before you decide on this option, please make sure that you have checked out this very successful alternative treatment for asthma
It will allow you to keep Fido. After all, it’s not his fault.
